Fried Meehoon

It has been a while since we had fried rice noodle (meehoon). I came across the recipe from Kak Lin's blog. The recipe was really nice and easy to make. Here is the recipe if you like to try.

Ingredients: (For 4 people)
  • Half rice noodle - soak until white and soft, drain
  • some prawns - clean
  • some beef - sliced into thin pieces
  • fish ball (opt.) - sliced
  • fish cake (opt.) - sliced
  • 3 - 10 bird eye chili, according to your liking - blend
  • 2 onion - blend
  • 2 garlics - blend
  • 1 carrot - sliced
  • 2 green chili - sliced
  • bean sprout - clean
  • Chives
  • Cooking oil
Methods:
  1. Heat the wok, pour some cooking oil and fry the blended ingredients until you can smell the aroma.
  2. Add the beef, fish balls and fish cake. Fry for a while.
  3. Add some water. Let it simmer until the beef tender.
  4. Throw in the prawns and sprinkle some salt.
  5. Add the rice noodle and stir well.
  6. Add the vegetables. Stir until well combine.
  7. Serve and garnish with scrambled egg, green chili and fried onion.
  8. Nice to eat with some bird chili in soy sauce.
Enjoy!
