Cucur Jagung

This is an easy dish that you can made it in a second for your tea. The basic ingredients for the batter are flour, salt, sugar and warm water. It's up to you, either you want it to be savoury or sweet dish. This time, I made it savoury for us. I added some anchovies, prawns, chili, onion, scallion (daun bawang), corn, salt, sugar, chili powder, turmeric, pepper and an egg. What you have to do is just combine all the ingredients in a big mixing bowl and add enough flour and hot/warm water until you come out with a smooth batter. You can add a bit of baking powder if you like. The batter should not be too thick or too thin. Spoon into the hot oil and deep fried. Served with sweet chili sauce.
