Pancakes

We had this for our breakfast this morning. I always use this recipe for making pancakes. The pancake is soft and not sweet. It can be eaten with anything that you like. If you like it to be a savoury dish, dip it into any sambal or curry and if you like it to be a sweet dish, spread it with honey, nutella, jam or golden syrups. Hey, you can also make 'Dorayaki' with this recipe..hehe..just spread some red bean paste between the 2 pancakes and eat.. just like Doraemon...nyum.. nyum.. nyum. So here is the recipe. The recipe's from MamaFami's fp. Thanks a lot Mama.

Ingredients: (make ~20 pancakes)

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Half cup of fresh cream
  • Fresh milk to mix

Methods:
  1. Mix all ingredients together until form a smooth batter (The batter should not be too thin or too thick).
  2. Allow the pan to get fairly hot and grease it with a bit of butter.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the pan and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
  4. Lift onto a clean tea towel and keep covered to prevent them going dry and hard.
  5. Served.
Enjoy!
