Battered Fried Mushrooms

Hello there... do you like mushrooms? If you like it, why not give this recipe a try.. Emm.. it's crispy and yummy... Suitable as a starter... Delicious even on its own or deep it in chilie sauce..

Ingredients:
2 slices white bread- grind to form breadcrumbs
half cup cheddar/parmesan cheese - finely grated
ground pepper
sea salt
a bit of paprica powder
a bit of tumeric powder
button mushrooms - slice it if you like, rinsed and patted dry
self-raising flour
water

Heat a pot and put oil in it for deep fry.

In a bowl, put half cup of self-raising flour, salt, tumeric and paprica powder together, mix it with some water until a smooth liquid is form.. the liquid must not so runny and must not so thick.

In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, cheese, salt and pepper together.

Add the mushrooms in the liquid, coat the mushrooms nicely and drop into the breadcrumbs mixture and turn to coat.

Drop one by one into the hot oil, deep fried it until golden brown.

Remove from the oil, put on the kitchen towel to toss the oil.. and serve it.

Best enjoy it when it's still warm..
